The fusuma painting “Kujaku Shichisai” (Seven Colors of the Peacock) is now on display at Ekoin Temple, Mt. Koya.

This work took approximately one year to complete and represents one of the most significant challenges of my career. It is a profound honor to have my art welcomed into this sacred place of prayer.

It has been eighteen years since I first visited Mt. Koya while researching kirikane (gold leaf application). After all these years, I feel a deep sense of destiny in having the opportunity to dedicate my work to this land.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved for their support in making this exhibition possible.
