Kirikane × Nihonga

Kirikane—An ancient gold leaf technique
from the Mediterranean,
refined through centuries of Japanese spiritual art.

Nihonga—A tradition of capturing
nature’s true colors
through raw mineral pigments.

When the precise gold lines of
Kirikane meet the rich textures of Nihonga,
they create a brilliance that is
both subtle and powerful.

Through the fusion of Kirikane and Nihonga,I seek to redefine the possibilities of
traditional Japanese art.
