The art book “THE GOLD THREAD WITH SEVEN SHADES　Hidetoshi Namiki Kirikane Art Works” has received the Japan Federation of Printing Industries Chairman’s Award at the 57th Book Design and Binding Competition.

The book was highly acclaimed for the excellence of its design and binding, which resonate with the intricate expression of kirikane, and was selected as an outstanding example of bookmaking.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone involved in this project, as well as to all who have taken the time to view the work.

The book is also scheduled to be submitted to an international book design competition to be held in Germany.
