Solo Exhibition at Matsuzakaya Ueno, September 2–8, 2026
Hidetoshi Namiki will hold a solo exhibition, “Celebration of Radiance,” at Matsuzakaya Ueno from September 2 to 8, 2026.
Using the traditional Japanese technique of kirikane, passed down through generations, I focus on the radiance of life, expressing grasses swaying in the wind, feathers dancing through the air, and waves shimmering in the setting sun through the delicate application of finely cut metal leaf.
I hope you will experience the unique beauty of kirikane, which can only be fully appreciated in person.
